oneの意味

以下は≪Imagine≫の歌詞から。

「I'm not the only one」の「one」は「a dreamer」を意味しているのだろう。
つまり「私は孤独な【１人の夢想者】ではなく、私のほかにも何人かの【１人の夢想者】がいる」というわけだろう。
だから「join us」というふうに「oneの複数形」で「us」なのだろう。
「the world will be as one」の「one」と「the world will live as one」の「one」とは、どちらも同じ意味だろうけれど、それが【１人】なのか【１つ】なのかがわからない。
わかりたいけどわからないままでいたい感じのわからなさ。
